Welcome to Your
Healing Journey
My work takes place within a medicine circle — a collaborative environment blending traditional and contemporary ritual practices, music, and holistic healing.
Start here: your next steps
1. Confirm your plan. Complete screening and confirm the service, session location, cost, and paperwork with Dr. LeTa before making travel arrangements. Payment does not replace screening or confirm that a session is appropriate for you.
2. Prepare together. Your program includes two one-hour preparation sessions and two one-hour integration sessions, with additional sessions if necessary. Use preparation to discuss your intentions, health history, medications, support needs, and questions.
3. Move through the tabs. Review Policies and complete the forms selected for your care. Use Prepare for your checklist, The Journey for session-day planning, and Integration and Onward for ongoing support.
How to reach me: Text is the preferred channel for time-sensitive questions; please allow up to 24 hours for a response. Email responses may take 3–7 days. Messages are not continuously monitored and are not an emergency service.

I offer sliding scale to all clients $3500-$5500 USD. If you would like to apply for a partial scholarship, you may apply here. I include the Mushroom Strain Testing, Microdosing Consultation and Protocol for all clients, as well as a Detoxification review (preparation or integration) for no extra charge if desired. Once payment is made we are in a container together. Your program includes two one-hour preparation sessions and two one-hour integration sessions, with additional sessions if necessary. For time-sensitive questions, please text; allow up to 24 hours for a response. Email responses may take 3–7 days. These channels are not for emergencies. The minimum amount of my time per person per healing journey averages 15+ hours of my time. Thank you for using your discernment with your investment. Choose a rate that reflects your financial circumstances. Your rate does not determine your commitment to healing. Many Blessings and I look forward to supporting you.

Before completing your forms
The forms below are labeled for out-of-Colorado residents. Please confirm with Dr. LeTa which forms apply to your service and session location. If you live in Colorado, request the appropriate forms before proceeding.
Read each document, keep a copy, and ask questions before signing. Confirm cancellation, rescheduling, refund, payment, and confidentiality terms in your individual agreement; this portal does not replace that agreement.
Your consent is ongoing. Discuss boundaries, touch, music, scents, spiritual practices, accessibility, and support preferences in advance. You can decline optional elements and speak up if your needs change.
Ask which secure channel to use for health information and completed documents. Confirm what information may be shared with your support person and the limits of confidentiality.

Your practical preparation checklist
Health review: Share your current medications, supplements, substance use, relevant health history, and any changes since screening. Do not stop or change prescribed medication on your own; coordinate with your prescriber and facilitator.
Individual instructions: Confirm food, hydration, and medication instructions for your session. Do not begin a cleanse, supplement, or substance-withdrawal plan solely because it appears on this page. Discuss suitability with your healthcare professional; abrupt alcohol or sedative withdrawal can require medical care.
Plan your support: Confirm arrival time, address, transportation, emergency contact, and support afterward. Arrange childcare or other responsibilities so you have time to rest. Tell Dr. LeTa about allergies, scent sensitivities, dietary needs, and mobility or communication accommodations.
Bring your questions: What would help you feel supported? What boundaries matter? What might make postponing the session the right choice? Preparation is a conversation, not a test to pass.
Optional services: Confirm what is included in your package and what costs extra before purchasing an add-on. Optional assessments do not replace medical screening or establish that psilocybin is safe for you.
Body
Arrive well rested. The experience takes a full day, so arrange to be free of all commitments.
Mind
Journal on your intentions — what are you ready to explore, release, or understand?
Spirit
Create a space that feels sacred to you before your session.
Preparing your body, mind, and spirit is not a checklist — it is a ritual of intention. Come as you are: open, curious, and willing.
Preparing Your Body for the Journey
Your body is the sacred vessel through which your healing journey unfolds. Just as we prepare the mind and spirit, it is equally important to tend to the physical body in the days leading up to your experience with natural medicine. Creating clarity and balance in your system can significantly enhance your ability to receive, process, and integrate the insights that emerge.
Suggested Practices for Physical Preparation
Gentle Detoxification
We recommend a specific Liver Detox —it’s a gentle yet effective 10-day protocol developed to support bile flow, cellular cleansing, and toxin elimination. This program can help prepare your body by reducing internal load and supporting liver function before or after engaging with psilocybin. We can drop ship this to you in 2-days, it’s 3 supplements including 2 liquids and a powder and it costs $250 total. You can do this detox before or after your healing journey. Please feel free to ask me questions if you have them. I feel strongly that if you have toxins like mold, plastics, heavy metals, etc. it is in your best interest to include this when it makes the most sense for you. Please learn more here and take either or both assessments.
Nourishing Foods to Support Your Process
Modifying your food intake in the 5–10 days prior to your session can help you feel grounded, clear, and energetically open. We invite you to:
- Eat whole, organic foods (vegetables, fruits, legumes, healthy fats, grains)
- Avoid processed foods, refined sugar, and artificial additives
- Minimize or eliminate alcohol, caffeine, and stimulants
- Consider reducing heavy animal proteins and dairy
- Stay hydrated with plenty of filtered water
These suggestions are not about deprivation—they are about listening to your body, creating more space for intuitive insight, and supporting your nervous system to respond with clarity and balance.
Movement and Body Connection
Gentle movement supports lymphatic flow and emotional regulation. Consider:
- Light stretching, yoga, walking in nature
- Body-based mindfulness practices (somatic awareness, breathwork)
Preparing your body is an act of reverence—for yourself, for the process, and for the sacred medicine. Trust that small, intentional shifts can ripple into profound readiness.
Preparing Your Mind for the Journey
Your mental and emotional state plays a powerful role in shaping your experience with natural medicine. Setting time aside to quiet the mind, become present, and explore your inner landscape can open the door to greater clarity and deeper insight.
Suggested Practices for Mental Preparation
Intention Setting
Spend some quiet time journaling or reflecting on the following:
- What is drawing me to this experience?
- What do I feel ready to explore, release, or understand more deeply?
- What am I calling in—emotionally, relationally, spiritually?
Your intention doesn’t have to be perfect or profound. It’s simply a compass, offering direction during your journey.
Minimize Mental Overload
In the days leading up to your session, we invite you to reduce stimulation:
- Limit screen time and social media
- Avoid emotionally charged media or environments
- Say “no” to unnecessary commitments
Give your mind some quiet space—it doesn’t need to figure anything out.
Mindfulness & Self-Compassion
Engage in gentle practices such as:
- Breath awareness or meditation
- Loving-kindness (metta) meditation
- Mindful walks or time in nature
Remember, difficult emotions may arise before or during the experience. They are not barriers—they are gateways. Meeting them with curiosity and compassion is part of the medicine.
Preparing Your Spirit for the Journey
Your spirit—however you define it—is the inner fire that gives meaning to your life. Whether your path is grounded in tradition, creativity, faith, or simple wonder, preparing spiritually invites your deeper self to come forward with openness and trust.
Suggested Practices for Spiritual Readiness:
Create Sacred Space
Before your session, spend time in a space that feels sacred to you:
- Light a candle or incense
- Arrange meaningful objects, photos, or symbols
- Listen to soul-stirring music or chant
This is your reminder that you are stepping into something intentional and sacred.
Offer a Prayer or Blessing (Optional)
If it feels aligned with your personal beliefs, offer a prayer, affirmation, or blessing:
- May I be open to what I need to see.
- May I be supported in all I release.
- May this journey serve the highest good.
Your spiritual readiness is not about having the “right” beliefs—it’s about approaching the journey with reverence, humility, and presence.
Connect with Ancestors, Guides, or Source
However you connect with the unseen—whether through nature, energy, ancestry, divinity, or spirit—consider inviting that presence to walk with you in the process. You are not alone.
YOUR PREPARATION + INTEGRATION COMPANION
The Psilocybin Healing Journey Workbook
A preparation and integration guide for legal psychedelic experiences
By Dr. LeTa Jussila, DAOM
Your journey begins before the session and continues long afterward. This workbook offers space to explore intentions, values, readiness, support, and the questions you want to bring into preparation.
Inside you’ll find a journey-day checklist, reflection for the first 72 hours, and a nine-week integration path. Five Element reflections from Chinese medicine, journaling, and creative pages help you explore what the experience means in everyday life.
An optional companion to our work together. Use the prompts at your own pace and bring reflections to your preparation and integration sessions. This workbook does not provide dosing instructions or replace individualized professional care.
These optional add-ons can meaningfully deepen your preparation. Ask Dr. LeTa about any of these during your preparation session.
10-Day Liver Detox A gentle protocol to support bile flow, cellular cleansing, and toxin elimination before your journey. If you carry a burden of mold, heavy metals, or plastics, clearing your system beforehand can significantly deepen your experience. We drop-ship this 3-supplement kit directly to you. $250
Personalized Mushroom Strain Testing Send in a sample of your nails, hair, or saliva and receive a report identifying which psilocybin-containing mushroom strains are best suited for you at this time — a powerful way to personalize your journey before it begins. $99
Mold + Heavy Metals Test Hidden burdens like mold exposure and heavy metal toxicity can affect your clarity, mood, and ability to receive the medicine. Running these labs before your journey helps ensure your body is as clear and ready as possible. This is a custom panel with a range of pricing. Take the free assessment first here and here.
BioEnergetic Testing Your body’s energetic blueprint can illuminate what your system is asking for right now. This test is an ideal companion for preparing for a deeper journey, helping your facilitator understand where you are energetically before you begin. $299
Pre-Journey Acupuncture Acupuncture before your healing journey helps regulate your nervous system, reduce anxiety, and open your body to receive the medicine with greater ease. Performed by a trained and licensed acupuncturist. $150
Neurotransmitter Assessment and Suggestions: You may take this assessment and I will review and give you specific food and supplement suggestions to balance out your brain chemistry. $150
WRITE YOURSELF REMINDERS
Phrases that will help you navigate difficult moments. Consider writing these on sticky notes for easy access during the journey.
Your comfort, choice, and session-day plan
Before beginning, review the day’s plan, consent, support preferences, and arrangements for leaving with Dr. LeTa. Mention any new symptoms, medication changes, or concerns. A session may need to be postponed after review.
You can ask questions, request a change in music or lighting, decline scents or optional touch, and ask for help. Tell your facilitator promptly about pain, fear, nausea, or anything that feels concerning. You do not need to endure discomfort silently or interpret it as healing.
Arrange approved transportation and a support plan in advance. Do not drive after the session. Leaving is based on your condition and the agreed safety plan, not a guaranteed number of hours. Do not assume an unaccompanied rideshare will be appropriate.
ABOUT THE TEA CEREMONY
In our work together, psilocybin is prepared and served in the form of a warm tea made with locally sourced honey, lemon, and spring water. If desired, ginger candy is offered to help soothe the stomach. Please discuss allergies and dietary preferences in advance. Tea does not guarantee a gentle onset or prevent nausea; responses vary.
The Tea as a Teacher
Psilocybin—the active compound in certain species of mushrooms—has been used for centuries by traditional cultures for healing, insight, and communion with spirit. We approach the tea as a sacred teacher, and an ally in your healing journey. While modern science refers to psilocybin as a “psychedelic,” in our space we honor it more as a visionary or entheogenic medicine—one that can open the doors to self-awareness, connection, and release. Its effects may include shifts in perception, emotional release, and vivid inner imagery. Just as in dream states, the symbols and sensations that arise may not always make logical sense—but they often carry deep emotional and spiritual wisdom.
CEREMONY FORMAT
Ceremonies are conducted with deep respect for the medicine, the space, and the collective container we are both co-creating. After ingesting the tea, the effects typically begin within 20 to 45 minutes and may last for 4–6 hours. During the ceremony, you may lie down, sit upright, or gently move, as long as it supports your process.
Music is a key part of the experience. It acts as both guide and ground, supporting emotional flow and spiritual depth. At times we may also use live instrumentation, chimes, or healing scents like sage or palo santo. You are always welcome to express needs, pause, or request additional support during the session.
DURATION
The onset, intensity, and duration of effects vary. Allow the full time agreed with your facilitator, and follow your individualized aftercare and transportation plan. Effects and support needs may continue beyond the session.
WHAT TO BRING
- Eye mask
- Journal & pen
- Water bottle
- Blanket and Pillow (optional)
- Headphones (optional)
- Altar items (if you wish to create an altar)
- A snack (fruit nuts, etc. + optional)
DURING THE EXPERIENCE
You are welcome to ask questions and name what you need. Laughter, tears, uncertainty, or quiet may arise; no particular response is required. Notice your experience without forcing an interpretation, and tell your facilitator about any physical or emotional discomfort.
AFTER THE EXPERIENCE
Do not drive after your session, even if you feel ready. Confirm transportation and support beforehand with your facilitator. Plan a nourishing meal, a restful environment, and a quiet evening. Reduce media if that feels supportive, and connect with a trusted person whenever you need care or reassurance. You do not have to process the experience alone.
INTEGRATION
A crucial part of the healing journey is integration — giving voice and meaning to the experience. I highly encourage you to schedule your integration session. It helps normalize the range of experiences, anchor insights, and build relational healing.
Psilocybin is not here to fix or diagnose anything. It is here to reveal, unwind, and remember—what we are, who we’ve always been, and what healing is possible when we come home to ourselves.
The first days: rest, reflect, reconnect
Give yourself space for sleep, nourishing meals, gentle activity, and quiet reflection. Follow your individualized aftercare instructions. You do not need to make immediate meaning of the experience, feel a particular emotion, or report a breakthrough.
Stay connected. Schedule your two included one-hour integration sessions; additional sessions are available if necessary. Note questions, sleep changes, emotions, and anything you would like to discuss. Reach out to a trusted support person when helpful.
Choose one small action. A realistic change in rest, boundaries, movement, or connection can be a starting point. Give major life decisions time and discuss them with trusted support.
A Five Element reflection: Wood—what wants to grow? Fire—what supports connection? Earth—what nourishes me? Metal—what can I release? Water—where do I need rest? These are reflection prompts, not diagnoses.
When more support is needed: Contact a qualified healthcare professional for persistent or worsening distress, sleep disruption, confusion, or difficulty functioning. For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for suicide or mental health crisis support; do not wait for a portal message response.
These prompts are here to support you before, during, and after your journey. Use what resonates. There are no right answers.
EXPLORING YOUR INTENTIONS
- Why are you interested in this experience, and what is your intention for it?
- What needs to be “taken care of” so you can be completely present?
- What is your ideal set and setting, and what would you like your facilitator to know?
SELF-INQUIRY
- Who are you? How much does your identity determine your behavior?
- Which of your values have been impeded by your current state?
- What is love? What is wisdom? What is trust?
- If you could have any single wish come true, what would you wish for?
SELF-FORGIVENESS
- Consider writing yourself a forgiveness letter. Start with: Dear [your name], it’s been a while since we last spoke…
- What past actions do you find difficult to forgive yourself for? What emotions do they bring up?
- What were the circumstances that influenced your choices at that time?
- Can you recognize that you are not the same person you were then?
- What would self-forgiveness look and feel like for you?
AFTER YOUR JOURNEY
- Write an account of your experience — either right after or a day or two later. This makes it easier to remember and integrate.
- How have your past experiences shaped your current identity?
- How do you define success? What does it mean to you personally?
These optional sessions provide additional support as you make meaning of your experience and anchor your insights into daily life.
Acupuncture for Integration A post-journey session to support grounding and processing of the energetic and emotional shifts that arise after ceremony. Especially helpful for those who feel unmoored or overstimulated after deep work.
Chinese Herbal Medicine Customized herbal formulations to support your nervous system, digestion, and emotional body in the weeks following your journey — rooted in thousands of years of healing wisdom.
Schedule Integration Session
A sustainable plan for what comes next
At integration, identify what you want to continue, who can support you, and when to check in again. Ongoing care may include your existing therapist, prescriber, primary care clinician, community, or other appropriate support.
Further journeys, microdosing, testing, and products are optional. There is no need to purchase another service to make your experience meaningful. Discuss the evidence, limitations, costs, and suitability of any next step before deciding.
Microdosing benefits and safety are still uncertain. For an independent overview of psilocybin research and risks, see the NIH National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health.
Keep your support plan accessible: Save your care-team contacts, preferred text channel, and emergency contacts somewhere easy to find. This portal offers general guidance and does not replace individualized care.
The most profound shifts from a psychedelic journey often don’t happen during the ceremony — they happen in the weeks and months that follow, as new awareness slowly becomes new ways of living. The Onward phase honors that process. It is not about chasing another experience, but about tending carefully to the one you’ve already had. Think of it as the integration of your integration — the ongoing, gentle work of becoming who you glimpsed yourself to be. The support offerings below are here to help you sustain your momentum, address what the journey may have surfaced in your body, and maintain a living relationship with your own healing.
Your healing journey doesn’t end when the ceremony does. The Onward phase is about carrying your insights forward, sustaining your growth, and continuing to tend to your whole health.
Schedule your Integration Session
Please schedule your integration sessions below. Text is preferred for time-sensitive questions; allow up to 24 hours for a response. Email responses may take 3–7 days. For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for suicide or mental health crisis support. Do not wait for a reply from me in an emergency.
